I was a Temporary Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) during the 1997/1998 academic year, and spent two years teaching at a small college in Virginia before moving to SU in 2000 (located on the DE/MD/VA peninsula, see "my professional homepage" link below). [Sabbatical position as a visiting associate professor at Cornell University during 2006-2007]
I've been involved in curricular reform, pedagogy, and preparing future K-12 teachers. My professional interests include these and RUME (Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education).
